Use My Tasks to stay organized and on top of your activities. You can quick add your tasks for a fast track of your activities and edit those that need additional detail to gain more insight on the work you have ahead of you for the day, the week or the month.

Navigate to Tasks
Tasks are available in two places in FreeAgent CRM. One quick access is located next to the notifications bell in the top right corner of your browser, in the form of a checklist icon.
Once you click here you will see a gearbox icon in the right-hand corner of the dropdown menu - this will let you immediately let you sort tasks by date ranges of Today, Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days.
The second one is available in the main menu, right under the Activities section. You can also start typing 'Tasks' in the global search to get there faster.
Create Tasks
You can create tasks following two different procedures. The first one is the fast version when you can create a new Task by simply adding a description in the ‘Quick add Task’ box right under the checklist icon, then just hit the ‘Enter’ key.
If you want to add more information to your Task, click the 3 horizontal dots icon right next to the task’s description displayed when you hover over with your mouse and there click ‘Edit’.
The second one will allow you to create full-detailed tasks, by clicking the 'Create new task' option available right under the Tasks menu in the Activities section.
Here you will be able to add the following information for your task:
Field | Description |
Description | Here is where you explain what the goal of the task is. (Required) |
Status | Shows whether a task has been completed or not. Its values are Done or Not Done. |
Complete Date | Day where the Task was completed. If completed through the 'Complete Task' App Action, this field will be automatically updated. |
Completed By | It is the Team member that completed the Task. It will default to the team member that completed the Task. |
Due Date | Date in which the Task should be completed. |
Assign To | Select the team member that will complete the Task. You can create Tasks for yourself or for other team members. |
Overdue |
Available options: 'yes' or 'no'. Yes means that the Task wasn't completed before or by the Due date. |

App Name | Here you will be able to associate your current task with a record in any of the apps available in the section. |
Once you are done filling out the information for the Task, click the 'Save' button.
Delete Tasks
You can delete existing Tasks at any time in different places:
From the Tasks icon, just click the 3 horizontal dots icon right next to the task’s description displayed when you hover over with your mouse and then click ‘Delete’.
From the All Tasks list view, just select the desired tasks and click the 'Delete' button.
Confirm that you want to proceed, and the task will be deleted.
Note: This process can not be undone.
Complete Tasks
To mark a task as completed from the Tasks icon, you can simply click the checkbox to the left of the task’s description, or you can click the 3 horizontal dots icon right next to the task’s description displayed when you hover over with your mouse and then click ‘Complete Task’, for either case, the system will automatically update its status to Done and add the Completed Date and Completed by information.
Completed Tasks will be displayed on a different section labeled as ‘Completed’.
From the Task's detailed page, you can click the 'Complete Task' button, located right next to 'Edit' one, once you do, the system will automatically update its status to Done and add the Completed Date and Completed by information.
