Dependent Choice List will show different choice values based on a parent choice list selection, e.g. enabling selection of subindustry based on industry selection within the same form.
In order to create a Dependent Choice List field, you need to create first the Parent Choice List with the options and then create the Child Choice List with the different options available for each of the Parent choices. To learn more about how to create one, please visit the following tutorial:

Configuring a Dependent Choice List Field
Give your field a name and add a field hint if desired. You can then select the section in which the field will be created or keep the default option.
The field type must be set to 'Choice List'.
In the Choice list field, you will need to select the Child Choice List you created previously. Once you do a new field will appear at the top of the form called 'Parent Choice List', click the dropdown to display the available options, and click on the Parent Choice List.
Note: The same Choice List can be used to create different Choice List Fields.
If you enable the 'Full Width' checkbox, this field will use the full width of the form, if the layout is set to two columns.
If you set the 'Show Card' option to 'Yes' the choices will be shown as cards instead of the classic dropdown list.
Enable the 'Required' checkbox if the information for this field is mandatory. It means that if you enable this option, every time a team member creates a new record, they will need to input the information for this field in order to save it.
If you enable the 'Lock After Create' as its name implies, the field will be locked once the new record is saved and the value of the field will not be editable afterward.
Once you are done setting your field, click the save button.
Note: All new fields are added at the bottom of the form.
