We turned all our chart views into widgets to give you more control over your data visualizations and expanded our Widget Library to include more ready-to-use widgets.
Charts are Now Widgets
Charts were transformed from views to widgets to increase your reporting capabilities. To make this transition as smooth as possible for you we migrated all your existing chart views. They are now listed views with Dashlets that replace the previous charts.

New Widgets: Number and Gauge
These two widgets are the first additions to a series of completely new widgets library.
Number widgets are best used for simple visualizations of KPIs. Even though they are simple, you can add a progress bar to track your metrics vs. target values.
Gauge allows you to measure and compare your KPIs against fully customizable color-coded targets.

Better Widget Configuration
Each widget type can be fully customizable during the creation process. Each widget includes its own configuration options that change according to their type. Generally speaking, you can fully customize the following elements:
- Title
- Labels. Show labels, customize their names, show legends.
- Attributes. Show values, define number prefix, format large values, select where values are placed, show % values, stack 100%
- Targets. Add one or multiple targets, define their value, color, and the label displayed on the widget.
Plus, you get a real-time preview as you construct your widgets.

Widgets click-throughs
If you want to learn more about the information behind your widget, all you need to do is click that portion of the widget and a new window will open showing you the view with all the information behind that portion of the widget. It is a great way to drill down into the underlying data of the portions of the widget for which you want to learn more.
Removed Calculations
Calculating by Max/Min/Avg in charts has been removed and defaults to count with options to select number and currency fields to calculate sum.
