FreeAgent CRM includes a vast number of field types for all their apps that allow you to customize your forms as never before. You can include in your forms all the information you need to capture to make sure you have everything you need in terms of data.
Because of this, we have identified one key field type that will change the way in which you capture data that will be a total game-changer for validations on your automations or to easily maintain your team into the loop for many different specific actions such as quotes approved, sent for signature and many more. Stay on top of these activities and keep the visibility of what has been done, or not, quickly and easily using Boolean fields.
What is a Boolean field?
As its name implies, the Boolean field type expects one of two possible values usually 'True' or 'False', that you can fully customize to achieve your needs. You can also specify icons that will be shown in the information form of your record.
They are really useful to capture, for example, when an Internal Application has been submitted instead of having a Choice list field with the Options "submitted" or "unsubmitted". It could be useful as well to specify whether a quote has been sent for signature or not.
You can also define the "default" value for the field, which usually is the "false" value. This way, when you create a new quote, the Sent for Signature field will show "not sent" until it is actually sent for signature.
