If you are interested in a simple table that allows you to get the count or sum of all the elements in your view according to the Field that you selected for the 'Pivot by' then the Pivot Table is the right view for you. The main value of the Pivot Table comes from, you guessed it! its pivot capabilities. You can select from any available fields to get the exact count or sum of the records available.
Edition Qualifier: Pivot Table is available in all FreeAgent Editions.
User Permissions: No special permissions are required to use Pivot Tables.
Pivot Table Configuration
To customize it, click the 'gear' icon next to the 'Save View' button. Select the columns you want to see and uncheck the box for those you don't need.

Pivot By | Select the field used to organize the data in the chart. You can further detail the information by selecting an operator and value. They will change according to the selected field type. |
Secondary Pivot By | Break down the information shown in each bar by selecting another field to pivot by. You can further detail the information by selecting an operator and value. They will change according to the selected field type. |
Calculate |
5 different options: Count - Shows the total of records based on the field selected in 'Pivot By' Average - Will show the average of the field selected, great to see the average deal size. Max - Shows the maximin value of the selected field. Min - Shows the minimum value of the selected field. Sum - Adds all the values for the selected field, great to see the total amount of all Opportunities. |
Pareto | If you enable it, the bars in the chart will be rearranged automatically starting with the biggest value. |
Include Empty columns | By default, all columns without data will not be shown in the Pivot Table. If you want to see them, just enable this option. |
Include List |
If you enable this option, the list view will be included at the bottom of the chart, to show additional information about the records. You can enable or disable the columns that are displayed. |
Manage Data
You have multiple options to handle the data displayed in your Pivot Table.
Delete Row
To remove a row from the table, just click on the checkbox next to its name. As you do this, you will notice that the row will disappear from the table. This doesn't mean that the information is no longer available, it was just hidden from the table.
Add Row
To add a row back, simply click on the checkbox square, right next to its name. The row will be added immediately and the view will adjust all the information.
Rearrange Rows
You can also rearrange the rows in a way that best fits your needs. To do so, simply drag and drop the row to the desired spot. This is a great way to quickly organize your information within the Table.
Note: Any changes you make to the configuration will only be visible under your own profile. They will not impact your team members. To keep your current configuration or share it with your team, save it as a View, and don't forget to check the Share with team box.
