FreeAgent CRM offers you the option to create a new Contact with a really ingenious tool called Quick Add.
If you have the Business Card of a contact, then all you need to do is drag & drop the image on the box. The data from the Busines Card will be extracted so that you can use it to create a New Contact.

User Permissions: No special permissions are required to use this feature.
Create New Contact
To create a new contact from a business card, click on the three dots icon available in the top right corner to display the available options. There click on 'Create New Contact'.
Note: Fields that have the '*' symbol right next to them are mandatory fields, which means that they are required in order to create the record. There are, as well, some fields that have system validation to ensure that all data added belongs to the field type.
The Business Card section is located on the right-hand side of the 'Create New Contact window, right on the corner. You can take a picture of the business card with your phone and send it to your computer. Then just drag and drop the picture from your computer's files to the blue box.
The information on the card and display it on the 'Quick Add' area, so that you can review it. You can remove or add information as you need. Once you click the 'Quick Add' button, the information about the contact will be added to the corresponding fields.
You can add more information about your contact and even assign it to one of your Team members. Once you are done adding the information, click the 'Save' button. Your contact will be created and visible under the 'Contacts' app.
Note: The Business Card will be attached to the Activity Timeline.
