Dashboards are a great reporting tool within FreeAgent CRM. The reason is very simple, within a Dashboard you can add different Saved views that will provide you all the information you need in a single, beautifully organized view. Not only that, but you have the power to organize the content in your Dashboards and arrange all the views in the way they work best for you.
Edition Qualifier: The filter feature is available in all FreeAgent Editions.

In this tutorial, we will cover the following topics:
Create Saved View
FreeAgent CRM gives you the option to generate dashboards based on your Saved Views, which means that you can filter the data exactly as you need it for your Dashboard, create a Saved View and FreeAgent CRM will take it from there.
Before creating the Dashboards it is important to create a 'Saved View' with the data you want to use for it.
Creating a Saved view means that if you have applied filters, rearranged the order and width of the columns in the list view, or have applied any special view configuration, you will be able to save it and come back to it any time.

Update Existing Saved Views
You can update your existing Saved views by adding more filters, changing the configuration, and even adding some sorting options. If you decide to update it and you want to keep this new version, you can save your changes.
This is a great option to keep your Saved views up-to-date, without having to create multiple new ones. Just make your changes and click the 'Save changes' option.
Create Dashboards
Once you have created your Saved View, go to 'Manage Dashboards' in the Settings menu. Here you can manage your existing dashboards and create new ones by clicking the 'New Dashboard' button. There you will need to give your Dashboard a name and then click the 'Add' button.
Once your Dashboard is created it will appear on the list. Click on its name.
There click the 3 dots icon to display the available options and then click 'Add View', then select the Save view you want to add to your Dashboard and click the 'Save' button.
Repeat the process to include as many widgets as you need to complete your Dashboard.
You can rearrange the views by dragging and dropping them on the desired location. The others will be automatically rearranged. You can also change the dimensions of the views by using the resizing tool available on the bottom right corner of each View.
