To connect your phone to FreeAgent CRM, you must use either Twilio or RingCentral. Admin users should navigate to this link https://freeagent.network/settings/voip to enable VoIP calling. Then, they can choose Twilio or RingCentral for the connection, which means you must have a license with one of those providers.
Navigate to Pair Phone
Open the Preferences menu by clicking on your username in the top right corner of the screen. This will open your profile menu. Click on 'Preferences' and then navigate to the 'Pair Phone' tab. Please note that Pair Your Phone is only available for landlines and cellphone numbers.
Pair Your Phone
Enter your phone number, including the area code. If you have an extension feel free to add it to the Extension field.
Click the 'Verify Phone Number' button. You will receive a phone call to continue with the process where you will be prompted for the verification code.
Note: You will need to wait for the call to end after you enter the code for the pairing process to complete.
Your phone is now paired with FreeAgent CRM, you can unpair and pair a different number at any time.
Just keep in mind that a phone number can only be paired to a single account.
Change Phone Number
If you have already paired a phone number, but you would like to change it, whether it is to a cellphone number or a landline, just click the 'Unpair' button and then start the pairing process with the new number.
