The new menu introduced with FreeAgent Cypress is filled with useful features and in this tutorial, we will cover the following ones:
Open/Close menu keyboard shortcuts
We've simplified how you navigate around FreeAgent with a spiffy new menu system. Simply click the hamburger icon ( in the upper-left portion of the screen, or use the slash ( ‘/’) key. This key can be found in your keyboard in the bottom right corner, right next to the shift key.
To close the menu you can click the hamburger icon or press the 'esc' key.
Within the menu, you will find a search box. It will allow you to perform any search for elements inside the menu. This is not a general system search, as it will only perform the search within the objects of the menu. You can search for any of your apps, saved views, and even elements from the settings, according to your access level.
Bookmarking and sharing pages
Each page in FreeAgent now comes with its own unique URL. This means you can share any page with team members simply by cutting and pasting the URL.
You can also bookmark pages you want to get to quickly in your browser and navigate right to them. This feature works with Views also - so FreeAgent will automatically recall ALL of your filters, sorts, and pivots too. The process for creating bookmarks varies according to the browser you are using, we always recommend Google Chrome, as it works best with FreeAgent CRM. To create a bookmark, simply click the star icon on the right side of the URL and click done.
Bookmarks are extremely useful to access your favorite or most used views with a single click.
