There are a few indicators that you might be missing one or a few steps when creating your Mailchimp Campaigns within FreeAgent CRM. They are all related to the status displayed for your Campaigns.
If the status of your campaign has been 'draft' for more than a few minutes after you created your campaign then:
- Make sure that you have verified your Mailchimp account. Without this important step, the status of the campaign will remain as 'draft'. Visit Mailchimp's Verify a Domain tutorial to learn more about this security feature.
- If you just created your account in Mailchimp and you didn't receive a validation email, them please review Mailchimp's Troubleshoot the Signup Activation Email.
- Review the information for the Sender Email in your Campaign details. If it doesn't belong to the domain of the Mailchimp account used in the pairing process you will need to verify that email in Mailchimp. For more information, visit Mailchimp's Verify a Domain tutorial.
