FreeAgent CRM offers the feature of calling your contacts directly from the application, but what happens when you called a contact from outside FreeAgent CRM, using your landline for example. For those cases, we recommend logging your call manually.
Go to the Contacts app, search for the Contact or client you want to register the call for. There click the 3 dots icon on the Next Steps related list and select 'Add Call'.
Enter a description, a due date, and a note, if necessary. Then click the 'Mark call as done" button and save it.
Your Next Step will be added to the Activity Timeline. If you click on it you can review all the notes you added for the Call.
Note: Since there wasn't an actual call made within FreeAgent CRM, the information is not going to include its duration.
