There could be different reasons to explain why you are not able to make phone calls in FreeAgent CRM. In this tutorial, we are going to review the most common ones: your phone number hasn't been paired with FreeAgent CRM, your browser doesn't have permission to use the microphone, or the call starts but it hangs up after 1 ring.
If you want to call one of your leads or contacts within FreeAgent CRM but when you click the 'Actions' button you don't see the option to make a phone call, that means that you have not yet paired your phone number with FreeAgent CRM.
The solution is to simply pair your Phone Number following the steps described in the following tutorial:

Once your Phone Number is paired with FreeAgent CRM, the call option will be available in the list of actions.
Phone Call Window is Empty
If after you click the Phone icon you see a new window come up completely blank, the problem is related to your browser's settings.
Often times microphone access is not allowed as default, so it is important to make sure that the browser has access to it.
Chrome is the recommended browser to use FreeAgent CRM at its best. To enable the microphone simply click on the padlock to the left-hand side of the URL and click on 'site settings'. A new tab will open that will allow you to adjust permissions settings for the microphone.
The Call Starts but it Hangs up After 1 Ring
This happens when the number you are trying to reach is currently unavailable or busy. We recommend that you wait for a few minutes before attempting your call again.
