Following our belief that your CRM should adapt to your process and not the other way around, FreeAgent CRM offers you different ways in which you can customize it. One of them being the Card configuration for your Leads. Cards are a great way to get relevant information in a single place, and we know that what is important might be different for each business, which is why you can change the information that appears on the Cards.
What is a Card?
First, it is important to explain that Cards are small summaries for your any of your Tabs. Each card contains relevant information about them.
Let's take Bob's card for example. In the first column (1), we can see his full name, title (job position) and the account (or company) he belongs to.
The second column (2) shows us his status as a lead, the number of interactions we had with Bob and the date he was added as a Lead on FreeAgent CRM (creation date).
But it doesn't need to stay this way. You can completely customize the information they show to suit your needs.
Customize your Card configuration
If you need to see different information for each of your Tabs your best option is to customize the Cards. To get started, click on your portrait and then on 'Settings'. On the left-hand side menu click on 'Tabs'.
To edit the Card configuration for your Leads, Accounts or Deals, first, select the corresponding tab (1) and then click on the 'Card configuration' button (2).
This will show a window that includes the information visible on the card for you to edit. First, select an icon (1) for the card, it will appear when there is no other image available. Then you can choose the information that will be included in the card. There are 6 lines in total on the card, but you can choose 'none' to leave it blank. Finally, you are given the option to decide to show the footprints for your Next Steps (3) or not to show them by disabling the 'Show footprints' checkbox.
Important: Multi-select (Choice List & Reference) Custom Fields are not available for this feature.
Once you are done selecting the columns, click the 'Save' button.
Your card configuration will show in every view where Cards are used, such as the Rolodex view (first image) and the board view (second image) and in other views or sections within your Tabs.
Now that you know that the Cards are completely customizable you can get the most relevant information for you condensed in a simple yet powerful card!
