Whenever a new Contact is created in FreeAgent CRM you can specify to which account you want to associate that Contact with. If you add the information of an Account that doesn't exist in FreeAgent CRM yet, then the system will create the Account for you.
But what happens when you are reviewing the Account's details and you realize you don't have the contact you need there? There is no need to worry, we have you covered.
Add a New Contact to an Account
Once you are on the details of the Account, you can see the contacts associated with it selecting the 'Contact' option on the drop-down menu. There you will see all the contacts that have been associated with the Account.
If you want to add a new contact click the 'Things You Can Do' button to get the available options. Then click on 'Add Contact'.
This will display the Contact creation window. You will notice that the Account information in the form will be already filled out.
Just add the rest of the contact information and once you are done click the 'Save' button.
Once your new Contact is saved, the system will take you to the Contact's detail page. To get back to the Account details, just click on the Account name.
On the Account detail page, under the 'Contacts' segment, you will see your new Contact on the list.
Well done! Now you can add new contacts to your Accounts as needed.
