Making calls with FreeAgent CRM is quite straightforward. Once you have paired your Phone Number the phone call icon will be available for all the contacts for which you have a phone number stored. With one simple click to that icon, you can start a phone call.
Please note that all the calls you make from FreeAgent CRM are carried over by the computer through your internet connection. Make sure that your computer has either a working microphone and speakers or use a headset to perform the calls (recommended).
One-click Phone Calls
To call your leads from within the FreeAgent CRM, it is required that you first pair your phone number. If you haven't done so already, then visit the tutorial:
Pairing your phone number means that when you call your contacts through FreeAgent CRM they will see your phone number on the caller ID. The blue phone icon next to a contact's name indicates that it is possible to call the Contact.
To do so, simply click it and the system will initiate the call. This feature is supported on the following browsers: Chrome, Firefox.
While you are on the call, there are a couple of things you can do: mute your mic (1), hang up the call (2), dial an extension (3) or write a note (4) which will be automatically saved by FreeAgent CRM.
If you choose to, you can click on the 'Hide' button to minimize the call window to continue working on other things on FreeAgent CRM.
To get the call window back, simply click on the smaller call window.
If after you start the call it gets disconnected after just one ring, it is possible that the number you are trying to reach is currently unavailable or busy. Please wait a few minutes before trying to call again.
