Creating Next Steps will help you stay organized and on top of your tasks. There are a couple of different ways in which you can create Next Steps. You can create Next Steps for a Lead, an Account or a Deal. You can even create Next Steps for other members of your team.
Create Next Steps
Go to the desired tab, either Leads (1), Accounts (2), or Deals (3) and select the Lead, Account or Deal for which you want to create the next step. Then click on 'Things You Can Do' and select the 'Add Next Step' option.
To create a Next Step you need to add a 'Description' (1), select the Next Step's Type between 'To do', 'Call' or 'Email' (2). Please note that 'Call' and 'Email' type are only available for Next Steps created for Leads. All Next Steps created for Deals and Accounts have the 'To-Do' type.
You can also select a date and time for your Next Step (3). Doing this will enable you to see your Next Steps within your FreeAgent CRM calendar. FreeAgent CRM will show you if the Next Step is on time, or if it is overdue.
You can create the Next Step for yourself or assign it to one of your team's member (4). You can also add notes to your Next Steps (5) of type To Do and Call.
IMPORTANT: Please note that if you create the Next Step for team members with 'Individual' access level they will not be able to see the Next Step if they are not the owner of the Lead, Account or Deal.
Once you have completed your Next Step, click the 'Save' button and your Next Step will be created.
Your Next Step will be visible on the selected tab (Leads, Accounts or Deals) under the Next Step segment, or in the Next Steps tab.
