Managing your Accounts within FreeAgent is fast and easy. You can add new ones, edit the existing ones or delete those that you don't longer need.
In this tutorial, we will cover the following topics:
Add an Account
To get started, go to the 'Accounts' tab and click 'Things You Can Do' button to display the available options. Then click on 'Create New Account'.
To keep the account creation process simple, the only required field is the Account name, however, it is always better to add as much data as possible when available.
Once you have filled in the necessary fields, click the 'Save' button.
The account will be created and will be available under the 'Accounts' section.
Edit an Account
To get started, go to the Accounts tab and click on the Account you want to edit. You will notice the 'Edit' button right at the bottom of the information section when you hover over it.
This will display a window to edit the Account's information. When you are done with the changes, click the 'Save' button.
Delete an Account
To get started, go to the Accounts tab and click on the Account you want to delete. You will notice the 'Delete Account' button right at the bottom of the information section when you hover over it.
Once you click on 'Delete' you will see a confirmation dialog. Here you will notice a warning that if you proceed with deleting the account there will some references that will be removed and it will show how many entities will be affected. If you are sure you want to delete the account then click the 'Delete' button. This operation can not be undone.
Delete Multiple Accounts
It is also possible to delete multiple Accounts at once. To do so, click on the List view (1) under the Accounts section. There select the accounts (2) you wish to delete, this will enable the 'Delete' button. Once you have selected the Accounts, click the 'Delete' button (3).
Since this process cannot be undone, you will need to confirm by clicking the 'Confirm' button on the Delete confirmation dialog box in order for the selected Accounts to be deleted from FreeAgent CRM.
