What is Bookmarking?
Bookmarking is a powerful tool that allows you to keep track of multiple forms in FreeAgent at once. You can use it to store record updates, new field additions, or create a new task. Almost anything you can edit or create in FreeAgent can be bookmarked so you can return it later.
Edition Qualifier: This feature is available in all FreeAgent Editions.
User Permissions: No special permissions are required to use this feature.
When adding or editing a new record you may have noticed a bookmark icon in the top right corner of the window. Clicking on this icon is what will start the bookmarking process.
Let's go over an example.
Let's say you want to add a new record to your Contacts app. You would start by clicking on the "Add" button which will open up the record creation form.
Once the form is open you should notice the bookmark icon in the top right corner of the window.
When the bookmark icon is clicked your window will be snapped to the right side of your screen inside your Right-Hand menu.
You can continue to work on adding your new record or you can minimize the form by clicking on the "x" button in the top right corner of the form.
Now your new record creation form has been minimized and bookmarked in your menu. You can open it again at any time by simply clicking on it. You can also bookmark other forms as you work within FreeAgent.
